Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Guided by Frank (“Frank”, “we”, guidedbyfrank.com) collects, why, and what control you have over it. Frank is a personal accountability service: you tell it what matters to you across Health, Family and Career, and it checks in with you over WhatsApp.

What we collect

  • Account details — your email address, used to sign in.
  • Your WhatsApp number — so Frank can message you.
  • What you tell Frank — your visions, outcomes and targets, and the answers you send to check-ins (a line of text, a number, or a skip).
  • Derived information — scores Frank infers from your answers, patterns it observes over time, and the nudges it has sent you.
  • Message logs — a record of WhatsApp messages exchanged, for reliability and support.

How we use it

We use your information solely to run the service for you: to generate check-in prompts and nudges, to reason over your history so those nudges are relevant, and to deliver them on WhatsApp. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it on our behalf

To run Frank we rely on a small set of providers, each handling only what they must:

  • Supabase — database, authentication and storage of your data.
  • Amazon Web Services — application hosting and transactional email.
  • Meta (WhatsApp) — delivery of WhatsApp messages.
  • Anthropic— the Claude model that reasons over your data to write Frank’s prompts and replies. Relevant parts of your check-in history are sent to Anthropic to generate these; they are not used to train models on your data.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone. Deletion removes your account and everything tied to it — pillars, visions, check-ins, nudges and patterns — and cannot be undone. Message logs needed for legal or fraud-prevention reasons may be retained for a limited period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. You can act on most of this directly in the app, or reach us at the address below.

Security & cookies

Data is protected with row-level security so each account can only reach its own rows, and is encrypted in transit. We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in; we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

Frank is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
